Government ministers have announced new grants of up to £1,500 to help businesses shut down by local lockdowns or targeted restrictions.

On 26 March 2020, the government announced the introduction of the Self-employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS). This scheme is to provide financial help to self-employed individuals, including members of a partnership, who have lost income due to Covid-19.
