May 2021

  • 3 May - Deadline for submitting P46 (car) for employees whose car/fuel benefits changed during the quarter to 5 April 2021
  • 19 May - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th May 2021
  • 31 May - Deadline for forms P60 for 2020/21 to be issued to employees
     

June 2021

  • 1 June - Advisory Fuel Rates (AFR) for company car users
  • 19 June - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th June 2021
     

July 2021

  • 5 July - Deadline for reaching a PAYE Settlement Agreement for 2020/21
  • 6 July - Deadline for forms P11D and P11D(b) for 2020/21 to be submitted to HMRC and copies to be issued to employees concerned
  • 6 July - Deadline for employers to report share incentives for 2020/21
  • 19 July - Class 1A NIC due for 2020/21
  • 19 July - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th July 2021
  • 19 July - PAYE quarterly payments are due for small employers for the pay periods 6th April 2021 to 5th July 2021
  • 31 July - Second self-assessment payment on account 2020/21 due

August 2021

  • 2 August - Deadline for submitting P46 (car) for employees whose car/fuel benefits changed during the quarter to 5th July 2021
  • 19 August - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th August 2021

September 2021

  • 1 September - Advisory Fuel Rates (AFR) for company car users
  • 19 September - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th September 2021

October 2021

  • 5 October - Deadline for individuals notifying HMRC of new sources of taxable income or gains or liability to the High-Income Child Benefit Charge for 2020/21 if no tax return has been issued
  • 19 October - Tax and NI due under 2020/21 PAYE Settlement Agreement
  • 19 Occtober - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th October 2021
  • 19 October - PAYE quarterly payments are due for small employers for the pay periods 6th July 2021 to 5th October 2021
  • 31 October - Deadline for submitting ‘paper’ 2020/21 self-assessment returns
  • 31 October - Deadline for submission of 2020/21 self-assessment returns if you require HMRC to compute your tax liability and/or if tax underpaid is to be collected by adjustment to your 2022/23 PAYE code

November 2021

  • 2 November - Deadline for submitting P46 (car) for employees whose car/fuel benefits changed during the quarter to 5th October 2021
  • 19 November - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th November 2021

December 2021

  • 1 December - Advisory Fuel Rates (AFR) for company car users
  • 19 December - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th December 2021
  • 30 December - Online filing deadline for submitting 2020/21 self-assessment return if you require HMRC to collect any underpaid tax by making an adjustment to your 2022/23 tax code

January 2022

  • 19 January - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th January 2022
  • 19 January - PAYE quarterly payments are due for small employers for the pay periods 6th October 2021 to 5th January 2022
  • 31 January - Deadline for submitting your 2020/21 self-assessment return (£100 automatic penalty if your return is late) and the balance of your 2020/21 liability together with the first payment on account for 2021/22 are also due

February 2022

  • 2 February - Deadline for submitting P46 (car) for employees whose car/fuel benefits changed during the quarter to 5th January 2022
  • 19 February - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th February 2022

March 2022

  • 1 March - Advisory Fuel Rates (AFR) for company car users
  • 3 March - 5% late payment penalty on any 2020/21 outstanding self-assessment tax which was due on 31st January 2022 and still remains unpaid
  • 19 March - PAYE, Student Loan and CIS deductions are due for the month to 5th March 2022
  • 31 March - Last minute planning for tax year 2021/22
